Exploratory Student Resources
Exploratory Student Resources is an Academic Advising program in the University Division at Indiana University Bloomington. The purpose of the program is to help students explore all of the academic options available at Indiana University and make good decisions about their choice of major as well as possible minors and certificates. Exploratory Student Resources provides resources and tools for all exploratory students as well as those students who may consider changing their major.
Indiana University’s Exploratory Student Resources is a nationally recognized program. It has been awarded the “Outstanding Institutional Advising Program Certificate of Merit” from ACT and the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). The program website has won NACADA’s “Electronic Publication Award.” Thomas Kenyon, the program Coordinator, has presented on the topic of helping students explore and choose their major at national and international conferences. He has also served as the Chair of the NACADA Commission on Advising Undecided/Exploratory Students.
